Mike Piggott's Swing Jazz Trio – "Master of the jazz violin" (Jazz UK)

An entertaining acoustic jazz concert of Stephane Grapelli & Django Rheinhardt-style swing jazz including Minor Swing, Tiger Rag and Gershwin's I got Rhythm. Mike, from Brighton – described by The New York Times as "one of the best swing jazz fiddle players active anywhere" – and his band from London. Martin Wheatley (whose credits include Bryan Ferry & Keith Nichols) is a most tasteful & authentic swing jazz guitar specialist and Jonny Gee (double bass) tours internationally with The Piccadilly Dance Orchestra and with Django's cousin, gypsy guitarist Lollo Meier.
